El Motivo (“The Reason”) is a project that we have embarked on with the aim of offering our guests the chance to get to know a unique environment, nestled in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, with all the comforts and services to promote the rest of our guests and enjoy our facilities and nature.
In El Motivo you can find 3 rural tourist apartments of different sizes (see our apartments) located on a 1,700 m2 plot with different facilities for your use.

In addition to resting in our apartments, “El Motivo” offers different corners that will allow you to enjoy a quiet enclave in the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, for this we offer you different services that we put at your disposal.
One of the keys to the success and beauty of Cercedilla is its geographical location, since it lives in the epicenter of the Sierra de Guadarrama, giving away unique postcards in the winter season and cooling the temperature when the sun shines in the summer.
That same orography is what makes possible a wide range of natural spaces to explore, generally marked by paths that limit the green meadows. Active tourism, hand in hand with rural tourism, stands out thanks to protected areas, such as the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Regional Park, environmental protector of slopes, peaks and forests of the Community of Madrid.
The routes are a regular in Cercedilla and a recurring activity, because through them he connects with nature and, also, with the history of the place.
El Motivo is in the colonial zone “Los Prados”, south entrance of Cercedilla (by the gas station). It is located at a 5 minutes’ walk from the bus stop and 10 minutes from the train station and the Cercedilla urban bus stop. Nearby you can find services such as: pharmacy, gas station, grocery store, “Siete Picos” bar-restaurant and “Los Sarmientos” restaurant.
